We were saddened to learn of Troy's passing… We share comfort in knowing Troy is now in a perfect place. May your good memories of love shared with Troy bring you comfort today and in the days ahead. We honor his memory with heart-felt thanks for both his courage and sacrifice to our nation on the battlefield as well as his unselfish service to our community. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

HERB HICKAM TALKS OFTEN ABOUT TROY AND THE ADVENTURES THEY HAD. HE ALWAYS SAID YOU COULD COUNT ON TROY.
HE TELLS ABOUT GETTING BEHIND THE WAGON TRAIN THE FIRST TIME HE WENT TO THE MOUNTAINS AND THEN FINDING OUT TROY WAS THE WAGON MASTER. HE SAID TROY ALWAYS WANTED TO TAKE HIM BEAR HUNTING. HE WENT BY TROY'S HOUSE ONE DAY AND SAW AN OLD HOUND ON THE PORCH. HE SAID THE DOG'S EARS WERE JUST IN SHREADS. WHEN HE ASKED TROY ABOUT THE DOG, TROY SAID, "AW, HE'S BEEN IN A FEW BEAR FIGHTS." HE SAID HE WAS NOT SURE ABOUT GOING BEAR HUNTING BECAUSE TROY JUST USED A SHOT GUN TO KILL HIS BEARS.
HERB ENJOYED WORKING WITH TROY AND HIS BOYS ON THE PIPELINE. HE WILL MISS HIS OLD FRIEND A GREAT DEAL.
