Anthony (Tony) Michael Vaughn, 52, of the Grassy Branch Community, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday October 10th, 2012. A native of Florida, he had been a resident of North Carolina for most of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Aileen Holder Vaughn, and Biological Mother, Janie Smith.
He is survived by his sisters; Linda Johnson and husband Bill of Bryson City, Marcia Ledford and husband Paul of Candler, and Teresa Cottrell and husband Dave of Hendersonville, and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church of which he was a member. Rev. David Watkins will officiate.
Crisp Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church Building Fund: 164 Caney Branch Rd., Bryson City, NC 28713.
