I remember the last time I talked to Uncle Horace. He called to talk to my Dad, Roosevelt Cagle. I answered the call. And got to talk to him a few min. Before my Dad. Snatched the phone. Out of excitement to talk to His Brother Horace, My father was sick with cancer. And Horace's call. Really put my Father in a Good place. As he passed a few days later. But those last few days. He told me story after story about them growing up together!! Iwas so Thankful he called. I pray Uncle Horace went to meet Our Father Sleeping Peaceful, like my Dad did!! I remember as a kid, visiting from Florida. Uncle Horace and his Beautiful wife and daughter Tammy, I thought it was crazy. She and I have the same name, except hers ends with y. And mine ie. And here middle name I believe was ynette??? And mine Jeannette!!! I don't know where they are. I think of them often. And pray they are Healthy and Happy. And Tammie is still spreading the cagle blood line. With Healthy, Happy babies. If yaw read this. Now you know. You have me still alive. Thinking and have been keeping yaw in my prayers all these years. Love yaw,, Tammie Cagle from Tampa Florida, but in Cherokee currently. Will be heading back south in a couple days!!!!♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

I am so sorry Uncle Horace ,, had to go so soon. I know he left in 2013, 8 years ago. The last ti,e I got to talk to him was around October 2008 when he called my Father Roosevelt Cagle, as he was sick with cancer. My Dad was so excited to talk to his Brother. Then he passed away a few days later. But I remember uncle Horace, His Beautiful wife and Daughter Tammy, from our visits from Florida, I PRAY You both well. I am in Cherokee now. Trying to learn more about my family!! My Mom passed when I was 21 yrs old. I have 3 older brothers. But that's all we have. I would love to learn more. About how Uncle Horace helped PAVE the way thru the Mountains!! My Dad always spoke so fondly of Uncle Horace and what a brave man he was. I will try to find his resting place, to pay my respects. While I am here.
