Howell Junior (J.R.) Ledford, 67, of the Conley's Creek Community passed away Monday, March 25, 2013 in a Jackson County Hospital. A native of Haywood County, he was the son of Zeldima Cagle Clark of Lake Junaluska, and the late Woodrow Ledford. He was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Ledford.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 40 years, Brenda Bradley Ledford; one son, Brad Ledford and wife Julie of Canton; one granddaughter, Payton Ledford; and two sisters, Aletha Rogers of Lake Junaluska, and Linda Silvers of Lake Junaluska.
Crisp Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
