May Bell Butler, 65, of Whittier, passed away Monday, April 1st, 2013 at her residence. May has been a resident of Whittier since 2003. She was the daughter of the late Austin and Alberta Mishoe and wife of the late James Butler. She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Mack and David Mishoe, and one sister Joanne Jacques.
She is survived by three children; Sharon Butler of the residence, Patsy Lennon of Bryson City, James O. Butler, Jr. and wife Sally of Whittier; five grandchildren, Jason Lennon, Jessica Strickland, James Butler III, Hailey, and Kailey Strickland; one great grandchild, Tanner Brennon and three sisters, Joyce Butler of Tampa, FL, Hilda Miller of Charleston, SC, and Angela Mishoe of Summerville, SC.
Memorial Services were held Monday April 1st, 2013 at the residence.
Crisp Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
