Reta Waldroup Abbott, 65, of Cherokee went home to be with the Lord Friday, April 12, 2013 at her residence. A native of Graham County, she was the daughter of the late Posey and Myrtle Phillips Waldroup. She was a member of Sweetgum Baptist Church.
She is survived by one daughter Heather Abbott of Sylva; one son Christopher Abbott of Coeur D' Alene, ID; three grandchildren, Trevor, Constance, and Autumn; five sisters, and two brothers.
A memorial services will be held at 6:00 PM Thursday in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Kenny Ball will officiate.
