Obituary of Linda Hager Woodard

Linda Hager Woodard, 85, of the Alarka Community in Swain County, went to be with the Lord on Sunday Morning May 26, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill. She was a dedicated Christian and lifetime member of Deep Gap Church of God. She is survived by five sons, Billy Ray and wife Gail, Larry and wife Betty, Phillip, Lonnie and Special friend Mary Thomas all of Bryson City, and Gary Lee and wife Christine of Valdese; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a special friend Betty Barnes. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday at the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Revs. Benji Collins and Jim Frady will officiate with burial in the Mason Branch Cemetery on Alarka. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:00 PM Monday at the Funeral Home.
