Dorothy J. Lackey Fouts Lequire, 71, of 94 Hazel Fouts Road passed away Sunday, June 2, 2013 from cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cordell and Eliza Lackey; grandson, Levi Fouts; brothers, Herman and Willard Lackey; and husband, Claude Fouts.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Lequire; son, Rickey Fouts of Franklin, NC; daughter, Claudette Hodge of Cataula, GA; one brother, Dillard Lackey of Oroville, CA; two sisters, Gladys McHan of Franklin, and Jeranda Cochran of Bryson City; three grandchildren, Kristina Hodge, Ross Hodge, and Brandon Fouts.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Crisp Funeral Home, Bryson City, is in charge of the arrangements.
