Dean Titus Davis, Sr., 84, of the Almond Community, passed away Friday, September 6th, 2013. A native of Pennsylvania and longtime resident of Florida, he lived in Swain County part time for 20 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving as a Ranger and Paratrooper. He was a four time reigning National Athlete of the year. He was a two time Ironman competitor.
He is survived by four sons; Dean Davis Jr. and wife Sherry, Todd Davis and wife Karen, Erik Davis and Adam Davis; 8 grandchildren; three great grandchildren, and two brothers; George F. Davis and wife Frankie, and Gordan B. Davis.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
