Obituary of Larry Henry Wood

Larry Henry Wood, 62, of Bryson City passed away Monday, October 21, 2013 at his residence. A native of Whittier, NC, he was the son of the late John T. and Mary Bryson Wood. He attended Cornerstone Wesleyan Church. He is survived by three sons, Chris Wood of Franklin, Casey Wood of Sylva, Daryl Wood of Bryson City; two grandchildren, Deanna Kelsey Wood and Caden Wood; one sister, Mary Jenkins of Whittier; and a special friend and soul mate, Rena Ensley of Bryson City. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday at the Whittier Church of God. Rev. Ned Pressley will officiate with burial in the Whittier Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 pm Wednesday at the church. Crisp Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
