Dear Wanda, Deborah, and family, we just learned of Willard's death and want to let you know that our thoughts and prayers will be with you during this difficult time. We have wonderful memories of him as you kids were growing up - his love of gardening and being the first one in the county, year after year, of having the first vegetables sprouting, his love of playing cards, and his love for his kids, he was so proud of you. I'm so sorry I didn't know he was sick. Much love to all of you.

David, I am so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I was only privileged to meet im once, but he left a wonderful lasting impression on me as a true man of the mountains. You all are in our thought and prayers. I'll quote something I heard long ago.... When it comes your time to travel, likewise don't feel lost For I will be the first one that you'll see. I'll be waiting on the far side banks of Jordan; I'll be waiting drawing pictures in the sand. And when I see you coming I will rise up with a shout; and come running through the shallow waters reaching for your hand.
