Obituary of Perry Fisher
Perry Fisher, 67, of Bryson City, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, November 9, 2013, in a Jackson County Hospital. A native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Ola Crisp Fisher. He loved driving a bus for Wild Water Rafting in his retirement years and enjoyed making people laugh. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Archie Fisher and Jackie Fisher; and two sisters, Sadie Jackson and Shirley Fortner.
He is survived by his children Jamie Fisher and wife Rita, Patricia Herrin and husband John, and David Fisher, and their mother Brenda; a longtime loving companion, Cindy Williams and her daughters, Chelley Mason and husband Tyler, and Haleena Ard and husband Derek; one brother, Calvin Fisher and Marsha; two sisters Judy Franks and husband Bud, and Marylee Roy and husband Edwin; a best friend for many many years Butch McCurry; 17 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Marty Pressley will officiate with burial in the Lauada Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 9:00 PM Monday at the Funeral Home.
