Obituary of Robert Boyd Tadlock

Robert (Bud) Tadlock, 75, of Whittier passed away Saturday, February 8, 2014 in a Buncombe County health care facility. A native of Mecklenburg County, he was the son of the late Boyd Doss and Etta Collins Tadlock. He was heavily involved in the Republican Party in Jackson County. He was a US Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by two sisters, and one brother. He had a good friend, Leva Mae King. He is survived by his wife, four children, five grandchildren, one brother, and one sister. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday at the Whittier Church of God. Rev. Ned Pressley will officiate with burial in the Union Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 pm Monday at the church. Crisp Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
