Obituary of Zenia Pattie Posey

Zenia Pattie Pilkington Posey, 92, of the Needmore Community went home to be with the Lord Friday, May 16, 2014 at Angel Medical Center in Franklin. A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Nathan Alexander and Laura Welch Pilkington. She was a member of the Tennessee Baptist Church on Pilkeys Creek. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Lee Posey. She is survived by six children, Donna Trent and husband, Dr. Wendell Trent of Jefferson City, Tenn., Reona Sanders and Husband Roger of Hendersonville, and Zenia Florence Posey, Dorthy Posey and husband Colin Jenkins, A.J. Posey and wife Carolyn, and Nathan Posey and wife Lillis, all of Bryson City; eight Grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 2PM Sunday in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Lewis Crisp will officiate with burial in the Grave Gap Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 1 until 2PM Sunday at the Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Plato Lee Posey, Sean Sanders, Richard Posey, Mike Ramsey, Richard Fortner, Trent Franks. Honorary Pallbearer will be Shane Franks.
