Obituary of Frances Roberta Howard

Frances Roberta "Bert" Maney Moon Howard, 87, of Bryson City, went home to be with the Lord peacefully at her home Tuesday July 15, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Jim A. and Vernie Martin Maney. She was a member of the Deep Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by six children, Don Moon and wife Sheila of Robbinsville, Steve Moon and wife Faye of Bryson City, Janis Moon of Toccoa, GA, Randy Moon and wife Maria of Dallas, TX, Pam Cunningham and husband Tommy of Bryson City, Richard Moon and wife Leann of Hendersonville, NC; 14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; one sister, Betty Fisher of Bryson City; one brother Norman (Buster) Maney of Bryson City.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday at Deep Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Mike Cogdill will officiate with burial in the Union Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Thursday at the church.
