Scott Douglas Sawyer, 50, of Bryson City, passed away Saturday July 26, 2014 at his residence. A native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Georgette Sawyer.
He was preceded in death by his wife Darlene S. Sawyer.
He is survived by two sisters, Ginger Myers and husband Jeff of Bryson City and Heather Queen and fiancée Jamie Rowland of Bryson City. Two nephews Jeremy Cochran and Coy Rowland; one niece Kayla Myers; and one great nephew, Malachi Cochran.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Tuesday at Crisp Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Deep Creek Cemetery.
