Jack Winchester, 87, of Bryson City, went home to be with the Lord Friday September 5, 2014 in a Swain County Healthcare Facility. A native of Swain County he was the son of the late Lum and Sarah Dehart Winchester. He was a US Army Veteran having served in World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife Wanda; son Tommy Winchester and his grandson, Jordan Winchester.
He is survived by one son Allen Winchester and wife Kay; daughter-in-law, Marcia Winchester; two grandchildren, three great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Winchester.
No services are planned.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Gideons P.O. Box 2282 Bryson City, NC 28713.
Crisp Funeral Home is assisting the family.
