Bernita Ann Crisp, 48, passed away Friday November 18, 2016 in a Swain County Hospital. Born June 19, 1968, she was the daughter of Pauline Faye Johnson Crisp and the late Barney Russell Crisp.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Laura Postell; sister, Angela Crisp; brother, Bobby Crisp; and many cousins on both sides of her family.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, December 1, 2016 in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Coy Adams will officiate with burial in the Hazie Brown Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
