Obituary of Wesley Roy Millsaps
Bryson City Dateline:
Wesley Roy Millsaps, 59, of the Shepherds Creek Community went home to be with the Lord Monday, February 13, 2012 at his residence. A native of Swain County he was the son of Valaree Walker Millsaps of Bryson City and the late William Roy Millsaps. He was a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church. He was an avid Guitar Picker and Fisherman.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 39 years, Dianne Millsaps; one son, Bill Millsaps and wife Karen of Bryson City; two granddaughters Emma and Rose Millsaps of Bryson City; two brothers David Millsaps and wife Teresa of Lugoff, SC, and Tony Millsaps and wife Rhonda of Bryson City; three Brothers-in-law, James Sizemore and wife Brenda of Whittier, Donald Sizemore and wife Alisha of Chattanooga, TN, and Michael Sizemore and wife Mary Sue of Eatonton, GA; one sister-in-law Vickie Brown and husband Tim of Eatonton, GA, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Revs Ray Fox and Eddie Sherrill will officiate with burial in Holly Springs Cemetery #2.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:00 PM Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
