Patty Davison, 60, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 18, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. A native of Monroeville, NJ, she was the daughter of the late James and Geneva Payne Givens. She was a caregiver for 35 years and retired from The Hermitage in Sylva, NC.
She was preceded in death by her special friend and father of her children, Charles Wandell.
She is survived by five children, Jammy Davison of Clayton, NJ, Jody Haughton of Alloway, NJ, Nicole Parton and husband Kenneth of Bryson City, Jolene Parris and husband Brian of Sylva, Michael Wandell and wife Courtney of Bryson City; grandchildren, Elizabeth Haughton, Holly Houghton, Deanna Wood, Waylon Parton, Ryan Parris and Charles Wandell; two great grandchildren, Chase Houghton and Savannah Houghton; and her sisters, Connie Burke and Cherrill Maxwell.
