Roland O McGregor of Bryson City, passed away on March 2nd, 2017 in Bryson City, NC The Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on March 10th at the Crisp Funeral Home in Bryson City. Roland O McGregor was born in Brunswick Georgia on April 17th 1935, son of Ernest and Ola McGregor. He married Janice Elaine Leggett on May 3rd, 1959 in Jekyll Island Georgia. He was a United States Navy Veteran Gunner Mate who gave service to our Country during the Korean War. He was retired from the Federal Government where he worked as a Property Management Specialist for over 23 years. Roland O McGregor, is preceded in death by Donald Eugene McGregor., Joan McGregor and Robert McGregor. Roland O McGregor, is survived by Janice Leggett McGregor, Roland O McGregor Jr,. Elaine Butts, April McGregor, Brenda Johnston, Randy McGregor, Linsdey McGregor, Perri Walker and Alexandra Butts. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be given as a small donation to Great Smoky Mountains National Park in North Carolina, to be used for trails clean up. The family of Roland O McGregor wishes to extend a sincere Thank You to all of the staff at Mountain View Manor and Four Seasons Hospice along with all of the family and friends. We also want to thank the Bryson City Methodist Church and Pastor Wayner.
