Obituary of Vivian P Williams

Vivian P. Williams, 89, passed away on March 13, 2012. She was born to Garfield and Jessie Moody Penland on February 16, 1923.
Vivian was a retired school teacher of the Swain County School System. She was loved and admired by all who knew her.
She was surrounded by family, her caregivers, and friends in her final days.
She was an accomplished lady and will be missed by all.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul Manner Williams; her mom and dad; her sister, Mildred P. Wood; and her "brother" Penland.
She is survived by her nephew, Daniel D. Wood, Jr. and wife Lisa; her niece, Vivi Ann Wood; and her dog, "Mugs" and great niece, Erin Leigh Wood Peterman; and the caregivers and friends.
Her graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Bryson City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the UMC of Bryson City or the Parkinson Association of the Carolina's, 5970 Fairview Road S- 725, Charlotte, NC 28210.
