Jim D. Hoyle, 62, of Bryson City passed away Monday, March 19, 2012 at his residence surrounded by his family and friends.
A native of Haywood County and longtime resident of Swain County, he was the son of the late Luther and Mary Williamson Hoyle. He also was preceded in death by two brothers, Clyde and Glen Hoyle; and one sister, Lucille Padgett.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Ruthie Styles Hoyle; one son, Jeff Hoyle and wife Blane of Clyde, NC; one grandson, Brian Hoyle; three brothers, Michael Hoyle of Whittier, Monroe Hoyle of Bryson City, Wade Hoyle of Bryson City; one sister, Mildred Lunsford of Hendersonville; one brother-in-law, Ronald Styles of Bryson City; two beloved cats, Bud and Fuzzy; nieces and nephews.
Crisp Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
