David Franklin 63, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, October 26, 2017. David was the owner and operator of Valley Produce and V.P. Recycling. David was the son of Luther and May McLain Franklin. David was raised by his grandparents Rose Sherrill and Badger McLain. He had two brothers John Henry Franklin and Dan Franklin and one sister Betty Stokley that all preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife Treva Millsaps Franklin; his beloved dog Charlie; many nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday at Crisp Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Dale Green will officiate with burial in Laurel Branch Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM Sunday at the Funeral Home.
