Obituary of Willene Gross

Willene Farley Gross, 62, of the Round Hill community went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at her residence. A native of Graham County, she was the daughter of Aline Holder Millsaps of Bryson City the late Billy Farley; and wife of the late Henry Buck Gross.
She was also preceded in death by her step father, Glenn Millsaps; grandparents, Boyd and Esta Holder; granddaughter, Whitney Parton; and nephew, Travis McCracken.
She was a member of Patterson Chapel Baptist Church.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children, Heather (Lewis) Parton, Dillon Gross, Kevin Hyde all of Bryson City; grandchild, Tanor Parton of Bryson City; siblings, Curt (Donna) Millsaps of Bryson City, Chad (Wendy) Millsaps of Bryson City, Sharon "Pete" Underwood of Leicester, Boris Holder of Bryson City, Dennis (Kathy) Holder of Whittier, Gary (Susie) Farley of Graham County; six nieces and nephews, many cousins and so many special friends that she loved dearly; and a special cousin, Kaye Jones of Graham County.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Revs. Tim Barker and Jason Smith will officiate with burial in the Laurel Branch Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
Her brothers and grandson will serve as pallbearers.
