It saddens me to lose someone so dear and inspiration for everyone she came in contact with . I know she is home safe and can now do even more for the ones close to her heart. To all thy he family members you have my deepest condolences. To Chloe just remember all the good times and know she is with you all the time now. I wish I could have come up . Katina meant alot to me and I can honestly say she was my wife's best friend. RIP . you will never be forgotten.

Katina was a wonderful and kind person. She and I used to go to Tri-County Community College together. We also went to the same church. She was a sweet and caring person. My condolences to her family. May the Lord comfort you at this time. God bless you all.

I was lucky enough to move to Murphy in the fall of 2005 and to find a job at REACH. We were a small staff, and we became like family to each other. Katina was in many ways the mama bear of the group. She had such a sweet and loving personality, and she always made me smile. She loved the people in her life so deeply, and I knew them through her. The kids, especially, were everything to her. Though I moved away from Murphy at the beginning of 2007, Katina and I stayed connected through social media. I will miss her sweet, loving messages, and I am sad that I'll never be able to hug her again. I'm sending all my love to her family and friends.

Dear Family; My heart is so very heavy and broken .The pain I feel is deep within my heart. I have cherished memories of days gone by when we enjoyed the company of our family with yours. I recall Katina and you, Rhianna, as young girls with your Mom. We spent a lot of time together in your early life doing such things as stringing beans and preparing food for winter. We always had your support throughout the years and still do. Know that we also are here for you as always. We are so sorry for your pain, loss and sorrow. Katina expressed her loving heart here on earth. She shared her love with many and I don’t doubt she will continue to do so in her after life as an immortal spirit . In all this sadness and grief that we feel, we have the hope and promise of seeing her again one day. I pray that Our Creator comforts you and provides strength during this time of loss - now and in the days ahead. God bless you all. With all our Love, Mary Brown and Family
