Obituary of James Dennis Elliott

It is with great sadness that the family of Jimmy Elliott, 48, announces his passing on Tuesday, July 10th, 2012 at Memorial Campus in Asheville, NC. A lifelong resident of Bryson City, he was the son of Ida Bowman Elliott of Robbinsville and the late Jesse A. Elliott. As an avid outdoorsman, he especially enjoyed camping and fishing. He was a loving son, brother, and uncle who was loved by many. In addition to his mother, he is survived by one brother Jesse Elliott Jr and wife Mary Anne of Burnsville; one sister Pamela Sabella and husband Joseph of Clearwater, FL; nieces, Maggie, and Chelsea Elliott, and Taylor Sabella; and nephews, Ben, and Jake Elliott, and Joseph Sabella (deceased), as well as his beloved dogs Lucy and Standard. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, July 13, 2012 in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home in Bryson City, NC. Rev. Ed Kilgore will officiate with burial in Swain Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, July 12, 2012 at the Funeral Home.
