Obituary of Georgia Lois Lackey
Georgia Lois Hyde Lackey went to her Heavenly Home on Sunday the 27th. She was preceded in death by her son Fred and daughter Kathy; a grandson Michael; mom, Hettie McDonald and father Houston Hyde; stepfather, Wade McDonald; sister, Jean Clark and brother, Emmett Hyde.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Ray Lackey; son, Charles Ray (Joyce); daughters, Ann Woodard, Yvonne Swan, and Sandra Lackey of Bryson City; son-in-law, Jamie Waldroup; nine grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Revs. Charles Ray Ball and Marty Pressley will officiate with burial in the Roundtop Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
