Gentle Thoughts to the Family,
When someone we love dies, the heartache and grief can be great. I hope that you can be comforted knowing that God cares for you and sees your pain. ( 1 Peter 5:7) "He is close to the brokenhearted and He saves those who are crushed in spirit". (Psalm 34:18) May you find comfort and relief during this grievous time, as you cherish the precious memories.
Sincerely,
Mr. Terry

All of Walter's family:
I had the pleasure of attending high school with Walter, and always knew him as a friend. Walter will be fondly remembered by many and missed by all who knew him. God's peace be yours.

To Walter's Children: Many, many years ago your dad was in one of the first classes I ever taught at Swain High. He was quiet, well-behaved, and so well-mannered, someone easy to like. He wasn't, however, particularly fond of English work. Years passed-many, many-and, in one of those unexpected circumstances, both he and my mother became residents at MVM. Since I stayed part of most days with my mother, I also had daily opportunities to talk with Walter about lots of things--like "losing his wheels," as he put it, when he couldn't use the electric wheelchair for a while. More importantly, we talked about God being with us even in the worst of circumstances and having a home for all who believed. I value having gotten to share some time with Walter these past years. I hope good memories of your dad will fill your minds and hearts.
