Not long after my mother became a resident at MVM, Gil and I became acquainted with James.. For some time we tried to get him to come out to the dining room to eat dinner and participate in the activities, but James was content to stay in his room--and be occupied with various activities. He always liked to share with Gil his Saturday adventures when Aileen took him out for the day. And through the years we found he had a wealth of knowledge about different things. Most importantly, he became our friend. It was a pleasure to know him-and we will miss him.
