I am so sorry to hear of Vivian's death. She was such a special lady. In 1949 she was my 2nd grade teacher at Alarka Elementary School and I adored her. I remember her as being a young and pretty teacher who treated her students fairly. She disciplined without ever raising her voice. I had not seen her in many years but she very kindly sent me a message of condolence through a friend when my dad died in 2004. I regret not having seen her again but I will always have warm memories of her.

Hank-Just wanted to send my deepest sympathy to you and your family in the loss of your mother. I will always remember her as my second grade teacher at Alarka School and friend in the years since. She was an inspiration to us all. I always enjoyed seeing her out and talking to her.

We send our sympathy to the family. We had the privilege of knowing Vivian through Morning Star as the roommate of our Mom, Fannie Hooper. She was a dear friend of Fannie and us.
You are in our prayers during this time.

Dear Friends:
I am so saddened to learn of Vivian's death and regret so very much that I didn't get to visit with her.
She was one of the most special "ladies" I have ever known. She blessed me in so many ways and I will always cherish the times we visited and the times we talked by phone.
God blessed her with a wonderful son, daughter-in-law and exceptionally wonderful granddaughter and grandson. She never hesitated to share the joy her grandchildren brought to her.
God is so good to us and I am so thankful that He gave us Vivian for these many years.
Sincerely,
Brenda

Hank, I'm so sorry about your Mother. It seems like only yesterday when she was my 2nd grade teacher at Alarka School .I have lots of memories of her and how attractive and neat she was. I've seen her many times in the grocery store or doctor's office and we would always stop and chat. I was just talking about her with another former student Thursday night. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
