I am so very sorry to hear of Dale's passing. Went to Whittier elementary and Swain High with him. My brothers played ball with him. Just lots of good memories. My Dad and Clara Mae were related and we loved to visit with the family. Dale was a good one gone too soon. Please know many friends will miss him. Lean on your memories and prayers for comfort. God Bless you all.

Gosh, I don't know where to start, your dad was cool, kind, smart & funny. I'm so sorry to hear this, I wish I had gone & visited him when he told me to come over. Many fond memories, He mentioned you' all now & then. Again, so sorry to hear this, my mom was 62 when she passed, too young. God speed Dale.

Dale was one of the finest athletes to ever play at Swain County HS. I have many fond memories of his talent and determination. It was always exciting whenever he was involved in a play. We will always miss #1.

O the memories from high school I have with you Big D. From being the light of your momma's eye to the Camaro with the accelerator that would stick. Just at a loss right now. Sad. Another classmate, another friend gone in the blink of an eye. Prayers for your family.
