I am so sorry to hear of Margie's passing; she was such a fine lady and I loved having even a brief conversation with her. I will always honor her dedication to the Marianna Black Library and will indeed make a donation to the MBL Building Fund in her memory with gratitude. My thoughts are with all of her family, especially her dear husband.

I worked with Margie for several years with the CHA and did some work, painting, for Earl and Margie years ago. I never met a more “professional “ person in her dealings with co-workers and the public. There was never any doubt as to where Margie stood on any subject, she told you! I always thought of Margie as a great lady and maybe the, or at least close to, the most honest person I ever knew.
Please accept my prayers and thoughts for entire family.

It saddened us greatly when we heard how sick Margie was, and a very sad day was when she left us to go home and be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Margie was one of a kind, always helpful and giving to everyone. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to Earl and all of the children, grand children, brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, cousins (that's me). We will miss Margie, but I am so thankful she is NOT suffering anymore. God bless each and everyone that knew Margie.

All of Margie's loved ones, please accept my sympathy for your loss of this wonderful woman. The last time I saw Margie, some years ago, was at the Park Visitor Center and Luftee. We had a fine conversation and she was, as always the epitome of a gracious lady. May memories of goodness and grace sustain you in this time of sorrow.
