Larry Leland “Buddy” Miller passed away on August 26, 2019. Mr. Miller was born in Swain County on March 18, 1956 to the late Arch and Cecelia Miller.  Larry loved woodworking and enjoyed fishing as well.  He is survived by his wife Carolyn Miller.  In addition, he is survived by four daughters, Jessica Davis, Lindsey Miller, Miranda Laney, and Misty Littlejohn; two sons, Larry James Miller and Michael Laney; ten grandchildren, Ryan Miller, Vincent Davis, Austin Davis, Karli Davis, Brennan Laney, Tracy Walker, Kaydence Davis, Xavion Davis, and Cami Davis; seven great grandchildren, Nixon Davis, Benso Davis, Ryan Davis, Aria Stephonson, Aiden Davis, Leroy Davis, and Alesana Davis.  In addition to his parents he his preceded in death by a brother, Chip Miller.
