Chester (Dave) Capen, 73, of Bryson City, formerly of Arizona, passed away Monday September 9, 2019. A longtime resident of Bryson City, he was the son of the late Harry J. and Betty Vonderheide Capen.
He is survived by his wife Lee Capen; one daughter, Cathy Capen of Tucson, AZ; one son, Chad Capen of Tucson, AZ; one step-son, Chris Wyatt of Franklin, NC, and one brother, Mike Capen of Tempe, AZ; Three Grandchildren, Sydney, Aiden, both of Tucson, AZ and Caiden Wyatt of Franklin, NC.
No services are planned at this time.
