Mrs Crisp and family, I only knew Ward for a very short time. We met at Victory Baptist during the food distributions as I am a driver for MANNA. I am truly saddened. I always looked forward to chatting with Ward as I found him inviting, kind, helpful and he had a sense of humor. I am sorry for your loss. I know he was a good man and that goes far in my book. May you find peace in your future knowing that he is in gods hands.

I have known Ward since we were in the first grade together at Mckee Training School (Cullowhee). He was and has been a close friend of mine since then. So sorry to hear about his death. He was a great person.
