We were classmates attending Swain High during the fifties. I remember a quiet student with a shy smile. My condolences to his
family. May precious memories sustain you as you grieve.

Although I never knew him I always would see him on Conleys creek. He always would wave. I am sorry for the family's loss.

What I remember most of Uncle Robert is his amazing smile. Sad to hear he has passed. Rejoice he is pain free and resting peacefully in his new Heavenly Home with many of family and friends. God bless Aunt Edna, Sharon and Doug prayers for all of you and your family as you find comfort in knowing Uncle Robert is at peace, with family and friends who went before him. Love to you all.

I remember when we were young, uncle Robert always took time to play with us when we came over to Granny's. As I grew up I saw him as a good example of a christian man. I appreciate who and what uncle Robert was and what he stood for. I know he will be sorely missed but I envision him laughing and dancing around the throne where Jesus sits. Uncle Robert fought the good fight and kept the faith and he will rest forever more in Jesus' arms.

Edna,Doug and Sharon. I am so sorry for your loss. We now know that Robert is with The Lord and has a clear mind and no more heartaches or troubles. He is rejoicing in the presence of his Lord. We will see him again soon. I love you guys and I'm praying for you.

Uncle Robert and Edna would always bring Rick and I produce from their garden. We would sit for hours talking about those two hunting ginseng with dad & mom and some of the competitions of who would find the most. Always ended up laughing. Some great memories!!
