Stephen Earl Ammons, 64, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, June 11, 2020. A native of Swain County and longtime resident of Caldwell County he was the son of the late Fred and Thelma Breedlove Ammons. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a sister, Freda Ammons.
He is survived by siblings, Harold Ammons and wife Barbara of Franklin, Edwin Ammons of Connelly Springs, Rhoda Ammons of Arden, and Doris Simons and husband Mike of Franklin.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
Crisp Funeral Home is assisting the family.
