Obituary of Ella Sellers

Ella LeQuire Sellers, 71, of Whittier went home to be with the Lord Wednesday July 29, 2020. A native of Swain County she was the daughter of the late Rev. Harvey and Elizabeth Carson LeQuire. Ella worked with Fred Moody at his Law Firm for over 20 years, and then moved on to work with Duke Energy until she retired. She was a member of Whittier Baptist Church. She loved taking care of other people. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Ronnie Sellers; two children, Cindy Fry and husband Johnny of Clarkesville, GA, and Stephen Sellers and wife Shelly of Bryson City; grandchildren, Coleman, Dalton, Nathan, Canaan, Cole, Kayla, Matthew, and Nathanael; great grandchildren, Lane, Sawyer, Parker, Marshall, MaKenzie, Dawson, and Kade; one brother, Roger LeQuire and wife Faye of Raleigh, NC; one sister, Sandee Kelley and husband Dan of Salina, OK; several nieces, nephews, and special cousins, as well as several extended family members. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday at Laurel Branch Cemetery. Rev. Terry Taylor will officiate. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Four Seasons Hospice at 571 South Allen Rd.
