Aubrey Linwood Gary, 83, of Deep Creek Road went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, October 7, 2009 in Bryson City Living Center. A native of Richmond, VA, he has lived in Swain County for the past 36 years. He loved drawing and painting and was an avid artist and he loved the Lord.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Helen Mae Gary; two sisters, Alise Holben of Asheboro, VA, and Betty McDonough of Bowie, MD.
Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Brad Burns will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
