Obituary of LOUISE GREEN BUMGARNER

Louise Green Bumgarner, 86, of the Lower Alarka Community went home to be with the Lord Sunday, September 20, 2009 at her residence. A native of Graham County, she had lived in Swain County for most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Kin and Icey Edwards Green and wife of the late Willie Homer Bumgarner. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, William Bumgarner and wife Wilma of Goose Creek, SC, Ronnie Bumgarner of Bryson City, Charles Bumgarner and wife Barbara of Bryson City; one daughter, Kathy Sluder of Bryson City; 12 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; one sister, Levinia DeHart of Almond; two brothers, Oscar Lee Green of Asheville, and Carl Green and wife Joanne of Robbinsville.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Mickey Stewart will officiate with burial in the Bumgarner Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
