Obituary of Ethel Breedlove

Ethel Simonds Breedlove, 87, went home to be with the Lorde Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at her residence in the Needmore Community of Swain County.
She was the daughter of the late Rev. James and Nola Simonds.
Ethel was preceded in death by her husband Norman Breedlove. She was a member of Maple Springs Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Jerry Breedlove (Jeanette), Janice Phillips, Patty Medford (Donald), and Carolyn Estep (Ronnie); six grandkids; 13 great grandkids; sister, Sue Bailey of Waynesville, and brother, Don Simonds of Bryson City.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm Friday at Maple Springs Baptist Church. The Rev. Patrick Breedlove, grandson, will officiate.
