Kinsley Faith Russell was called home to be with the Lord on June 22, 2021. She was born on June 10, 2021 and spent just a short twelve days with her family here on earth. Kinsley was such a beautiful and sweet baby and her family is eternally grateful for the time they were able to spend with her before her passing. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Joe Haigler, Uncle Andrew Haigler, Paternal great grandmother Selma Carver, all of Bryson City. She was also preceded in death by her maternal great-great grandfather William Moore and maternal great –great grandmother Nancy Marshall of Sylva. She is survived by her parents, Drew Russell and Samantha Haigler of Canton, her maternal grandparents Cindi Hoyle and Stanley Hoyle of Sylva, maternal great- great grandmother Joan Moore of Canton, paternal grandparents Phil and Linda Russell of Canton, as well as paternal aunts Jessica Pettay and Brenda James of Canton, maternal aunts Laci Hoyle and Courtney Marshall of Sylva and Lillian Haigler of Bryson City, maternal great uncles Michael and Kevin Marshall of Sylva. Uncles also include great uncle John Haigler, Uncles Joseph Haigler, Trevor Haigler, Dalton Haigler, and Kenneth Haigler, all who reside in WNC as well as cousins Issac and Abigail Pettay and Abigail and Khalessi Marshall. Her family also includes many other extended family members that love her. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the NICU of Mission Hospital who provided exceptional care to our sweet Kinsley. Our family would not have been able to get through this difficult situation without their support and outstanding care of our daughter. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at 2:00pm at the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home with Pastor Shane Silvers officiating. Burial will follow at Fred Cochran Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 2:00pm prior to the service. Crisp Funeral Home is assisting the Russell Family with arrangements.
