Ernest Nations, 61, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord, Monday August 16, 2021 in a Jackson County Hospital. A life long resident of Bryson City, he was the son of the late Rev. Hoover and Helen Ross Nations; brother, Clifford Nations, and infant son, Shawn Nations all of Bryson City.
In addition, Ernest is survived by his wife Paula Nations of 35 years; sons, Justin Nations and wife Prisalla of Wichita, Kansas, Dustin Nations and wife Ashley Nations, and Kevin Nations; Two daughters Brenda Nations and April Nations all of Bryson City.
One sister, Kay Hall and husband Ricky; four brothers, Ronnie Nations and wife Dawn, Larry Nations and wife Dora of Jackson County, Rick Nations and wife Rachel of Bryson City, and David Nations and wife Heather of Bryson City, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday August 26, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM and funeral beginning at 2:00 PM at Crisp Funeral Home. Brandon Lewis and Chris Nations will officiate.
