James Earl Crisp, 68, of the Deep Creek Community, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, September 18th, 2012 in a Buncombe County Hospital. A native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Virgil and Mary Lee Kirkland Crisp. He attended Bryson City Church of God. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in the Vietnam War. He was Co. Owner along with his son of The Stone Depot.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Tootie Cutshaw Crisp; one son Michael Crisp of Bryson City, and four grandchildren, Cassie, Seth, Caleb, and Nate Crisp.
Crisp Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
