Obituary of Clifford Ball

Clifford Ball, 82, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord Monday, February 28, 2022. A native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Frank and Eddie Wiggins Ball and husband of the late Stella Ball.
He was the last of a long line of brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his son, Steven Dale Cochran and his mother, Anna Hannah; honorary son, Chuck Cochran; nieces, Joyce Lowe, Alice King, Edith Kirkland, Jody Ball, Betty Jean Pie; nephew, Mike Ball; and several stepchildren and step grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Darren Cochran will officiate with burial in the Yellowhill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
