Mr. Cunningham and his wife were always very good friends with my mom and dad, Lee and Fearllee Rickman. He was a generous man and kidded around at times with me, my brother and sister but he always had a generous lesson for us. A well and I mean well respected man to by all of Swain County and beyond.

I remember Tommy from my younger days. He was a Charter Member of Galbreath Creek Missionary Baptist Church. His family came to church there for years. My parents were good friends with him and Argie. Also in later years at A&P grocery store. He was a fine Christian man and will certainly be missed. I pray that he and dad are shouting it out in glory today! My thoughts and prayers for the family! May God give you comfort and peace as only he can at this time.

Dear Cunningham Family:
So sorry to hear of Tommy's passing. I worked for Tommy back in the 70's at the
A & P. He was a wonderful boss and Christian man. He will be missed. Sending love and
