Obituary of Helen Kilpatrick Norton

Helen K. Norton, 92, of Whittier passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2022. She was the daughter of the late A.L. and Mae McHan Kilpatrick and wife of the late Kenneth Norton.
She was a member of Whittier Baptist Church where she played the piano and taught the Women’s Sunday School Class.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Hawkins.
Helen is survived by two daughters, Glenda Hoak of Deming, NM, Marilyn Norton of Whittier; grandchildren, Chandler Norton and wife Madison, Christian Norton, Lisa Torres and husband Jorge, Jeffery York and wife Nicki, Tammy Blount; great grandchildren, Kayla and Skyler Torres, Jeremy Burris and wife Leann; great great grandchild, Riley Burris; sister, Mary Ball of Loveland, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday at Whittier Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Norton Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm Monday at the church.
