Obituary of Linda Smith Jenkins

Linda Smith Jenkins, 75, of the Buckners Branch Community went home to be with the Lord Saturday, September 24, 2022. A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Nathan and Hazel Smith. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Genevieve Smith, and two brothers, Tim Smith, and William Roy (Sonny) Smith.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Carl Jenkins; children, Brian Jenkins and wife Jessica, and Nathan Jenkins and wife Rebecca all of Bryson City; grandchildren, Blake, Ryan, Ethan, Madeline, Logan, and Ava; one sister, Wanda Roland, and one brother, Charles Smith.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday at Blankenship Cemetery. Brother Gil Breedlove will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Brian Jenkins, Nathan Jenkins, Aaron Smith, Adam Smith, James Roland, Ben Murphy, and Charlie Green.
