Keniethea Branton Martin, 102, passed away December 7, 2022. A native of Swain County she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Fannie Weeks Branton.
She and her husband Robert, spent most of their lives in Taft, California.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband J. Robert Martin in 1993. Sisters Kathryn Blankenship, Josephine Wiggins, Edith Queen, Edna Baker and brother James Branton.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
She has been a resident of Candler since 1995, and a member of West Asheville Baptist Church.
A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Harmony Baptist Church in Bryson City.
The family will receive friends following the service. At her request there will be no graveside service. Burial will be in Swain Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Chapter of Hospice of your choice. She was dearly loved by her dear nieces, nephews and friends.
